Homework Club

At St John's  School homework is given by teachers to consolidate and reinforce the learning that takes place in class.

We hold an after school homework club once a week to help support pupils that, for various reasons, struggle to complete this at home. At the homework club, staff members encourage and support pupils with the tasks they are set by their teachers.

Places in the homework club are limited and are allocated by teachers nominating pupils who will benefit from attending.

We still encourage all parents to look at, and take an interest in, the homework that their child is being given and completing each week.
